EPW - Tavannes, Swiss, men's dress watch with pendant watch sized mvt within a very attractive spread style case of 47mm diameter, gold-filled OF original Tavannes case with attractive white enamel inlay to bezel and rear perimeter, engine turned gilt dial, SW-SS, lever escapement, 7J, nickel damascene, s#5654991. CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, winding wheels with ultra-fine scratch striations from past polishing to remove oxide which are more notable to crown wheel which also has surface pitting; nearly flawless dial with some spots of rub at perimeter under bezel; fine hands, minute with oxide throughout tip; case shows little wear, some fine scratches and profuse micro-fine scratches, ding to edge of bezel at 5:30, some scattered small nicks elsewhere, enameling is nearly fully intact with only an area of loss to bezel at 8; tight bow, crown shows little wear; glass crystal with scattered scratches and nicks.
